Tip 1: Cooperation in your documents.

Thanks to OneDrive, you can collaborate on the same document, presentation or excel file. It is a dream to use when working together in a meeting room, either in your office or from your home office. All you have to do is share the file you created with your colleague and click away. This can also be done with external partners, suppliers or others.

Not only do you get rid of 100 different versions of a document by doing so. You also have a more secure and sustainable way of sharing information. In addition it saves you a lot of time.

Tip 2: Do not stress with storage ever again.

If you and your colleagues set good routines and work actively in OneDrive with your work that we mention above here. Yes, then you can be sure that everything is saved automatically. Do not experience a single file disappear again. Or that version 3.4 is suddenly gone. Another reason to only use OneDrive at work.

This is also the case if you use file sharing within Teams. There you can create your own folders, upload and edit at the same time all the way until the meeting starts and you will pitch or present new things. It is saved automatically and you see what the other person is doing and has done.

Tip 3: Leave your email tidy for you.

Microsoft has its own "mess" filter made for us who are not very good at filtering. The filter prioritizes the most important emails you receive, and the rest accumulates in the "Clutter" folder that appears when you activate the filter. You can also create your own rules for how the filter should sort your email. This feature is a lifesaver.

How to turn on the filter?

Stop by Outlook.

  • Go to Options or Options.
  • Select Focused Inbox or Focused Inbox.
  • And tap on the option: Sort messages into Focused and Other or Sort messages in Focused and Other.

Tip 4: Use Links to your files instead of sending large files in Outlook.

Many people send large files by e-mail, and sometimes they will not even be sent because the file is too large. Send link to your OneDriven instead. It's very simple and straightforward.

How to send link?

  1. Select the files or folders you want to share by right-clicking.
  2. Select part.
  3. Under send link, select Everyone with the link can view or edit.
  4. Copy the link into the email you are sending or send it directly.

Tip 5: Ready for them physical the meetings again?
