A young company in strong growth

Soon Takst saw the light of day at New Year's. Two industry colleagues who operated separately joined forces to create a larger professional environment. In just 9 months, they have gone from two to five employees. All with a big heart for valuation.

The company has in a short time established itself in Son, together with several players within the same industry:

- We share an office with a carpentry company, plumbers and electricians. So the office has become a fantastic professional environment in which we can play. It was actually via one of the other companies that we got a tip about you, says the managing director with a smile.

The man smiling is Magnus Karlstad. He is general manager at Soon Takst and has worked with assessment page since 2010. Our conversation goes smoothly and we get an insight into what the people in Soon Rate spends time on.

For Soon Takst, the tasks are varied, and maintenance plans are what they do most of. They make such plans on everything from smaller condominiums, combination buildings and large housing associations. The reports must answer which maintenance needs of the building mass hair. Both type of maintenance and costs you should prepare for in the next 10 years.

We ask a little about what a normal day looks like. Magnus answers quickly: - It's incredibly fun and rewarding. We get to be out in the field and meet people who live all over the place large parts of central Eastern Norway. It often takes 2-4 hours for an inspection and then it's back to the office to write a report.

We also learn, through Magnus, that for people who work with valuations, it is most common to operate separately in a small AS or in sole proprietorships. Soon Takst wanted to change that. Therefore, they joined forces to create a professional environment where they can play off each other and develop from assignment to assignment. Magnus thinks that will mean a lot.

Since we started, we've had a lot to do, so we needed to get things more organized. We have all worked in slightly different programs. Braathe has helped clear things up for us.

Storage, sharing and communication

For Soon Takst, the 9 months have been busy. IT systems, e-mail solutions and data sharing have therefore not been at the top of the list. Something that is very natural. Before the summer they took hold.

The goal was for everyone to have the same e-mail solution, access to more secure storage systems and, not least, Office. That's what we got together:

- Since we started, we have had a lot to do, so we needed to get things more organized. We have all worked in slightly different programs. Braathe has helped to clear things up for us, says Magnus.

We know that system is important, regardless of the size of the business. The earlier you introduce a good system, the easier it is to know that communication flows, security is taken care of and that people are trygge in the programs they will use.

Free support became important

Little did Magnus know that support would become so important in the introduction of the new system.

- I think we have all called support actually, says Magnus with a small laugh. We have been very satisfied with the support solution, he continues.

That was one of the reasons why Soon Takst chose to use an external actor. With the possibility of immediate help, it is easier to get on with the working day. This means you don't have to dwell on small things or interrupt important processes because of a problem.

Support with us consists of committed people who always want to help. Both with big and small questions. All our services include free support, and that's because we see that availability is important to our customers.

The transition to Braathe

We ask a little about the transition and what it was like. Magnus shares diligently: – The transition has been very nice. We got a consultant out here to us from Rygge- their office. He contributed with everything from the transfer of mail, files and got us started with the systems.

There is one detail in particular that Magnus highlights during the transfer:

- When we had the transition we got Braathe even my folder system in my mail transferred. It was incredibly digg.

It always takes some time before employees feel secure in new systems. In addition, new routines often have to be created. Fortunately, 365 Workplace simplifies that job. That is the experience Soon Takst is also left with:

- Since we have 365, we have chosen to transfer everything to Onedrive and Sharepoint. Then everyone has access and it is much easier to collaborate in the documents.

How long did the transfer take?

- I think I was without my email for 5 minutes, shares Magnus.

He doesn't think it would have taken 5 minutes if he had to do it himself. Fortunately, he lets it go. We are incredibly happy to be able to contribute to putting things more in order. In addition, it is so nice to get to know the people behind the company.

We thank you for the great chat and wish Soon Takst the best of luck in the future! Feel free to check them out at soontakst.no.
