CYBR has changed its name and is called Pistachio. This article was written before the name change. Along with the new name, several exciting training methods have been added to their service. Read more about it here.

What is CYBR?

First of all, let's welcome to CYBR. The company that really puts safety for most people on the agenda. The company was founded in 2019, and since then they have created a security universe for you and me.

They are therefore an innovative technology supplier that you will hear more about in the future. That is because this autumn we will roll out their security portal as part of our Digital Workplace portfolio. But why do we bring in an external partner?

It is because:

  1. We want you to get better rusted in the face of dangers and threats in your digital everyday life.
  2. We will, together with you, create security ambassadors in every nook and cranny so that we can prevent costly and resource-consuming attacks on Norwegian businesses.
  3. We will, by using CYBR's portal, bring down the red numbers on the human failure in the face of digital threats.

You can also listen here some excerpts from an interview our Director of Business Development, Lillian Mathisen, has done with Mohammed Awais Aziz, from CYBR:

The CYBR portal + Braathe = <3

Together with CYBR, we deliver a portal to you where you can learn more about insidious attack methods. Gradually, you will also be able to test yourself in preventing attacks. Our own security manager, Bård, accompanies you on your journey.

Through short and effective modules, you can get to know everything from email fraud to what you should look for in a link before you click on it. You will be driven to see what is a potential danger and what is not. Something that makes you feel tryggere in your digital everyday life. The portal is therefore a fantastic learning arena for everyone who stays online.

When numbers and statistics show that human error is the number one cause of successful attacks, we obviously have to work on the human factor. It's great that Braathe, together with CYBR, can help create tryggere users and increase awareness of their own role as part of the company's defence.

Engaging learning

The portal has a mission. It is to teach you all about digital security. The content will be engaging and easy to understand. Combined with a game-based approach, also called "gamified learning", we hope the information is easy to consume. So you don't have to worry about 100 PowerPoint slides or an unengaging lecturer on the screen.

Hear some excerpts from an interview with Awais from CYBR. It is our business developer Lillian Mathisen who runs the interview.

The whole point of the portal is for you to think a little security every day. It is therefore optimized for both PC and mobile, is up-to-date on the threat landscape within digital security and is available in several languages.

Are you curious about the portal? We offer it to everyone Braathe-customers with Digital Workplace. Contact your customer advisor to get started!

Minimize it the human the cyber risk

90% of all successful attacks on businesses worldwide happen because one person was unlucky and didn't know better. We will do something about that. Our goal is for you to know as much as possible about how to detect an attack, prevent it and notify about it. We want you to motivate your colleagues to do the same. Because in the meeting with hackers and people with evil intentions, no one is trygge.

We have heard of a few digital attacks in Norway so far. But there are many cyber attacks that never reach the newspapers. What we know about successful attacks is that they cost a lot of money, require an insane amount of resources to clean up, while businesses can lose several days, months and years of work in a flash.

Let's prevent more red numbers and a gloomy statistic. Put digital security on the agenda at your workplace and educate the people in the hallways. We promise you, you won't regret it.
