What exactly is the cloud?
Not everyone knows what the word cloud or in English "the cloud" means. It is completely understandable, and we believe that it is our job to know the details. Still, it can be good to know what the cloud really is for you and what it can mean for your workplace. And not least, why it is a place we recommend you to be.
The cloud is another word for the internet, but not anywhere on the internet. It is about either a private or public cloud where you have your files and services. A public cloud can have many names and the most common are Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or maybe Apple Cloud that you have come across on your mobile? We offer Microsoft Azure as a public cloud. While a private cloud can be located on a separate personal server for your company in one of our data centers.
So the question is: Do you need the cloud? Are you already there? Should you be there like that really? We mean it! The benefits of the cloud are many and we would like to tell you the top three main reasons for it.
