The Gjensidige Foundation is a well-known foundation for most Norwegians. For many years, they have distributed support for socially beneficial purposes, and own a large part of Gjensidige Forsikring ASA. The purpose of the foundation is to create a tryggere society, therefore it is extra important that we in Braathe Gruppen can provide them with a secure digital voting system.

A safe and simple system

- We have 1200 votes to be distributed across representatives across the country. Braathe Gruppen reprogrammed the system for us so that it would work exactly as we wanted, Lars-Erik Mørk says with a smile.

Dark explains that Digital Reconciliation is easy to use:

- The system is intuitive, so even though the representatives in the Gjensidige Foundation have different skills, everyone understands how they use the system.

The Mutual Foundation began using the service already for their general meeting in 2019. All the representatives easily entered the system and understood how to use it. They experienced it as safe and good, and are even more excited about the new additional services that have been added this year.

- As the situation in society is now, we are extra happy that we have this system in place. We have 100 representatives from all over the country who will vote on matters at the general meeting. This year we do not have to meet, but can still follow what the representatives vote for as people cast their votes. Previously, we used ballot papers on paper and had to conduct 14 ballots afterwards. In some cases, we spent several hours voting and our meetings could extend. Now that everything is digital and automated, the voting goes by itself. We can click on the various protocols and read reports that show what has been voted on, says Mørk.

What is Digital Poll?
Digital voting lets you keep track of voting on various issues, and which parties and politicians have voted on what. By using digital voting you will also get an overview of matters for consideration.

The solution gives you, as a meeting administrator, complete control over the meeting, and allows you, among other things, to manage your speaking time, replies and votes.

Digital voting in practice
Prior to the event, the meeting, issues and voting are added to the system. During the meeting, the meeting administrator controls the flow of issues, suggestions, talk time and replies. After voting it becomes visible to the audience in the hall and on the web, who has voted and what - and all this without counting hands! In addition, after the meeting, it is possible to obtain a meeting report and view statistics of votes from the meeting.
