How has it been to work for Braathe Gruppen this summer?
- It has been incredibly educational and exciting. It has been a lot of new to get acquainted with. I should get to know how Braathe Gruppen worked and how they are organized, as well as gaining an insight into their customer base, and not least gaining training in the systems and tools they use. When I started at Braathe I was well received, where there was a plan that I followed with good guidance that should make me better acquainted with it Braathe and their operation, she explains.

What did a normal day look like for you?
- A normal day, is a varied day at Braathe. I started in the consulting department to help with the preparation of new and returned rental PCs, as well as handling warranty cases against hardware suppliers. I also had the opportunity to work together with technical support, where there were tasks in all possible variations and degrees of difficulty. Typically, this was the creation, deletion and change of users on the various cloud solutions Braathe delivers. In addition, I was able to contribute to matters with what I already knew, and received good help when I had questions or needed guidance, says Mellegård.

- In the course of a day, you can of course not forget the lunch, which I want to emphasize. Although it has been a special time, where everyone has had to adapt to change, I think the canteen delivered impeccable meals, she continues.

What have you learned after a summer with us?
- During the summer, I had a steep learning curve. For example, I have learned how to change a screen, something I had not done before, as well as becoming more familiar with the BIOS. I have also seen and learned how they at support handle customers in a professional way, and how they adapt to the customer's IT knowledge. In addition to this, I have gained experience with the systems and tools used at Braathe Gruppen.

Elise goes on to talk about how the work environment has had a lot to say:

- The impression I have got of the work environment at Braathe is an inclusive environment, where people help each other to find solutions. There is a low threshold for sharing experiences and asking questions. I therefore take with me what constitutes a good working environment.

What has it been like to be in a summer empty office?
- It is a question that is a little difficult to answer, since I do not know what normality is. When I started at Braathe Gruppen, there were still many who had home offices due to COVID-19. Of course, I noticed that there were fewer people in the office when it was a joint holiday, but what has been important to me is that I have had people around me that I have been able to ask when there has been something I have wondered - and it has always been. During the joint holiday, it has been calmer, so I am excited about what a normal day is like, when both employees and customers are back from holiday. This is something I expect to experience when I start my internship with Braathe Gruppen in the autumn, Mellegård says with a smile.

Elise has heard a lot of positive things about Braathe Gruppen growing up, it therefore became a natural place to request a job. Among other things, both her parents have been customers of ours for a long time.

- I will start the last year at Halden University College, where I study computer science, so I wanted to find a job that was relevant to the study. Previous summers I have worked at Maximat in Nordby, which was not relevant this summer when everything was closed down. I am very grateful that I got the opportunity to work at Braathe over the summer, and that I can have a company internship with you this autumn, says Mellegård.

- I want to thank everyone for welcoming me so well, and all the experience you have shared with me, Mellegård concludes.
