With Azure Information Protection, you can raise awareness about the degree of sensitivity - and increase the security of emails and documents by classifying them at different levels. Both internally and externally. Three good arguments for using Azure Information Protection:

  1. Classify your data based on sensitivity
Configure policies to classify, mark, and protect data based on their sensitivity. Classification with Azure Information Protection is fully automated, user-driven or recommendation-based.
  2. Protect your data at all times
Add classification and protection information for ongoing protection that accompanies the data and ensures that it remains protected wherever it is stored or with whom it is shared.
  3. Add visibility and control
Track activities on shared data and revoke access if necessary. Your IT team can use powerful logging and reporting to monitor, analyze and control data.

The service is included in all our new cloud packages and in selected variants of Microsoft 365 licenses. If you are unsure whether you have access to the service, contact your customer advisor. We activate standard functionality on our cloud packages that support this. It is also possible to expand in several aspects of security, own labels and more. If you do not have access, you may have a package that does not support this - or you may need to contact support to have it activated.
