With millions of users worldwide, Teams has become a program many of us have fallen in love with. As part of the Office suite, the feature is in daily use at most businesses, and we have meetings, quick clarifications and can even boast of digital quizzes and other social tricks.

As with many other programs, we make habits in Teams, and not all of them are necessarily the most effective. Therefore, we wanted to gather some features that not everyone has experienced or has not yet used. Are you ready?

The functions are simple, but can make the day much easier if there are enough people at work who use them. First feature out is the teams chat!

This email could be a chat message

Teams chat is a lifesaver these days. With a chat like this you can drop both 5- and 10 things that could potentially become an email. Let's avoid it, or what?

The chat is where you get quick answers, and you can easily get hold of each other through the list of employees. In addition, it is a perfect way to avoid job interviews on private channels. Delicious for you, and delicious for your colleagues!

In the chat you can also share documents, photos and play with gifs. You can search the chat if there is something you want to pick up the thread on again.

We are very active users of the chat - and we love it. Let's change the expression "this meeting could be an email" and say "this email could be a chat message".

 Should it be noted?

Make a note directly during your digital meeting. In Teams, you can create meeting notes easily as a stain while sitting in the meeting. The note is automatically available to all participants. Doesn't that sound delicious?

Let us show you how:

  • Start your meeting
  • Click on the three dots.
  • Select "meeting notes".

Different presentation modes

Play a little with how you should look for participants while presenting! There are so many more options than a small square in the corner. Let us show you some fun examples!

We have 1: You in monitor while presenting

We have 2: On the side of your presentation

We have 3: Reporter mode

Let us show you how:

  • Start your meeting.
  • Click the arrow that takes you to presentation mode.
  • Then choose between the different buttons where it says "present mode".

Do not miss the details, record your meeting

Are you going to have a creative session at work, interview someone or have a meeting where details play an important role? Then this is perfect for you!

We record meetings that it is important for us to remember, and especially where the ideas should fly a little more freely. Then we do not miss anything. Taking notes is of course worth gold as well, but recording can give it a little extra.

This is what you do:

  • Ask if everyone in the meeting approves that the meeting is recorded.
  • In the Teams meeting itself, tap the three dots above your photo.
  • Scroll down to "record meeting" or "record meeting". Press the on button.
  • You will then receive a purple notification that tells you that you are recording the meeting. The same thing gets participants up.
  • When you need to record, you can press the button again and recording will end.
  • Recording also ends automatically by pressing «leave meeting».

Teams are a beloved feature across the country, and we hope these tips can contribute to an even nicer workday!
