A new twist in a traditional industry
As a 28-year-old and recent lawyer, Hedda Molteberg Nilsen quickly became aware of things she missed in the industry. She landed on that "dream workplace", which she probably had to build herself. - What I dreamed of was a modern and efficient workplace where everyone could take part in what happens as a team, rather than what you often see in the classic organizational structures in the industry, Hedda tells us over a coffee at Teams.

A brand new law firm therefore saw the light of day in 2014, and it has gone incredibly well since. The law firm Molteberg Nilsen is now a workplace with a flatter and team-based organizational structure, with values that match Hedda all the way. And not only that, they are also a company in strong growth. With a total of 14 skilled employees, they make their mark on the industry, and they also invite both agents and trainees when they can.

Young company, young environment and future-oriented
With an average age of less than 35 years, the law firm has managed to create an exciting and young environment. It's a lot about Hedda's focus. - We want young people to have early responsibility, and grow with us as a company. That is why we actively hire trainees during our studies, and several of these have stayed in the company and currently work as legal assistants and lawyers. I think it's fun, she says enthusiastically.

For Hedda as general manager, it has been important to think "us" and "we" all the way. She thinks this makes a big difference in meeting clients. When issues and challenges come to the table, they often solve them together.

- We solve many tasks as a team - and the power of a team is incredible! An example I would like to point out of how we solve challenges with us is when we had an urgent need to get a new employee. Then I gathered the team and took up the challenge. This resulted in an interview and employment the next morning. It is a strength in being a team and we make full use of it with us, she can tell.

There is so much of a team, and the supplier level also plays an important role in how things go internally. Even if it is outside the organization. Therefore, we are very proud to be able to deliver IT services to a forward-looking law firm such as Molteberg Nilsen.

We deliver so much - because the tools we need are many. Sometimes the right equipment is half the job. Read more about our Device as a Service service!

From one expert to another
As a company that handles information of great importance to the man and woman in the street on a daily basis, good security is important, especially digitally. Hedda is aware of this, and they therefore take active steps throughout the year to ensure the best of the best both internally and externally. - Braathe has contributed well with tips on how our digital security can be even better. We are experts in law, and we know how important it is to bring in experts in other fields when we see it necessary, she says with a smile.

Before Braathe came to the field they had all the traditional equipment, but we have upgraded a lot since then, Heidi Nordstad can share with us. She has been responsible for Molteberg Nielsen since they came into contact. - What we deliver now is, among other things, a package of various security services and tools that are used on a daily basis. All of these are fantastic measures, and show that Molteberg Nilsen is far ahead of others in its industry when it comes to awareness of its digital security. We have also contributed to more knowledge in things such as encryption, data storage, the cloud and much, much more. It has been incredibly fun to work with them, Heidi can tell.

Future-oriented and conscious
Hedda Molteberg Nilsen has known from the beginning that good IT tools are an important key in everyday work. She also sees a change in the way they communicate after the pandemic. - IT is the most important tool in our everyday lives. Our choices when it comes to IT are essential to our success. We also see the great benefits of not only using the tools, but also taking advantage of everything they have to offer.

Nordstad who works with this every day can tell that she sees a growing awareness across the country. - What we see is that across very many different industries, there is a growing awareness and growing need for both more knowledge and information about digital footprints and security, she says quickly.

Why do you think there is a growing awareness around security?

- I suspect that many, especially after the pandemic, have realized that all information is a few Wifi lines away, and that it makes us more vulnerable to attacks. We are also seeing an increasing trend in arbitrary attacks on everything from small to large companies. Therefore, your safety is the alpha omega and not where you should save money, Heidi tells us.

We look forward to seeing how Molteberg Nilsen develops further - and not least we look forward to being a part of their journey. Thanks to Hedda for the good chat. Would you like to learn more about digital security or maybe talk to one of our experts? Read more about your safety here.
