Daniel is one of the brains who ensures that several of our various departments have everything they need to get better. Optimization is actually a big part of what he works on every day.
Tools that improve
For Daniel, listening is an important part of everyday work. In order for him to be able to do the job in the best possible way, he deals with each department, listens to how things are going and what they need to get better. Together, they find existing tools or outline new ones that can make everyday work better. We can do a lot in-house, and some is passed on to external players. In any case, we work towards the same goal - to become the best possible in what we do.
For Daniel, it is never boring at work: - The job is hectic and very exciting. I get to be a part of something bigger, and have the opportunity to make the working day even better for my colleagues, at the same time as I also make our internal processes even better in meeting our customers.
What are you currently working on?
- Nice that you ask! We are currently working on a tool that will increase the quality and efficiency for handling customers and users who are used by support and delivery. This year, we are actually also launching a self-service portal for customers where they can manage their users, which will be very exciting to roll out. This tool is continuously worked on to create a total overview per customer, both for us and for the customer. That way we have a full overview, do tasks the same every time and can correct for everyone at the same time. One can say that corona time has not made us relax at least, says Daniel with a little laugh.

Been with from the start
Daniel Tangen is actually one of our old schoolers, and started with us in 2009 at the head office Rygge. So for 11 years he has had to focus on technology and IT. He has enjoyed that, he can tell.
- I started on support in my time, and have soon been to all departments from there. In 11 years I have seen both the support department from all sides, worked with operations, been a consultant and on to delivery and now I am sitting here where we do what we can for customers to get it as smooth as possible when they make contact with us.
In his spare time, he loves running, both alone and with a running group with colleagues, in addition to being with his children aged 10 and 12. Daniel himself mentions that the reason why he has been here for so long is due to the environment and that there are constantly new challenges and opportunities for development. He loves it!

We have some values we always have in mind when we start our processes. They sound GOOD - Conscious, Responsive and Ambitious. These are also used by Daniel in his everyday work.
- For us who work in an industry that develops from hour to hour, it is incredibly important that we always encourage collaboration, collaboration and competence sharing across departments. Here I like to come in and make people aware of actually sharing with each other.
