Press release:
Braathe establishes itself in Central Norway, buys DOGI IKT AS

  • A strategically important expansion to strengthen our national presence
  • With the acquisition get Braathe rapidly increased capacity in central Norway and supply of new exciting contract customers
  • Braathe is equipped to strengthen and build on DOGI IKT's customer base - and also be able to offer a more complete range of services to both new and old customers in the region

Braathe AS (formerly Braathe Gruppen AS), is now establishing itself in Central Norway through the purchase of the company Dogi IKT AS. Dogi IKT is a well-established IT company with a strong foothold Fosen and in the Trondheim region. With stable customer relationships and good knowledge of the region, they are a strategically important expansion to strengthen Braathes national presence. The company has 3 employees and a turnover of 7,3 million in 2021.

“This was a good match when the opportunity arose. - In a short time we have gained a solid foothold in Northern Norway with offices in Tromsø, Bodø, Mo i Rana and Harstad, but we have lacked a local presence in Trøndelag. Therefore, this was a strategically important expansion northwards to strengthen us as a national IT supplier.", says Tron Braathe, Managing Director of Braathe AS.

The acquisition strengthens the company's capacity and expertise in Microsoft services and other cloud and operational services. These services are growing strongly in all industries and the demand in the market is high. Braathe is thus expanding its service offering and its presence in central Norway. With Dogi IKT on the team, we become an actor with established relationships who will continue to work to strengthen existing customer relationships and build new ones in the region. We call it worry-free IT.

Vegard Mandal, who will continue the journey with Braathe AS, looks forward to embarking on the road ahead. "After some very good years under Rissa Kraftlag, we are now gearing up for further growth both in Fosenthe region and Central Norway otherwise. We are delighted to have become part of a company that has proven over many years that they deliver services at a high level, and feel sure that this provides the best possible conditions for both employees and customers of Dogi IKT in the future. »

Today's owner, Rissa kraftlag SA, is proud to have been involved in and of the employees who have managed to build up the position Dogi has in the market at Fosen and surroundings. The chairman of Rissa kraftlag, Marvin Wiseth, says this is completely in line with Kraftlag's vision of being a generator in the local community. Through Dogi, we have contributed to creating local skilled workplaces and good services for the local business community. IT is today the lifeblood of the vast majority of companies and Braathe is a solid partner to take the baton forward. We look forward to following the development further.
