IT in practice and the school desk
Petter (17), who usually sits on the school bench at Kirkeparken Videregående Skole, has now got an internship with us. He had his first day last week, and we think it's incredibly fun to have an intern on the team this autumn.
Petter usually studies Information Technology and Informatics, which involves everything from software development and coding to how to assemble the equipment and make it the best possible. The latter has Petter been pursuing for a while as a hobby already. Because when we talk to him, he can tell that the interest in IT, it came early.
Potential technologist in the stomach?
Interest in IT from a young age
From as early as 14 years old, Petter became interested in IT, and has been the family's expert for a few years already. He thinks this will come in handy in a job like this. - It will be fun to learn more about how Braathe Gruppen jobs. I am especially looking forward to the part that involves all the equipment, how to make it ready for the man in the street and not least understandable to most people, Petter says with a smile.
Petter will go to school four out of five days, and spends one day a week with us. With us, he will gain insight into the various parts of IT, and he looks forward to that. He also hopes to bring some tricky tricks home to his buddies. Together, they build PCs and are social around IT gadgets and other pranks. We'll see if any of our experts can offer secret tricks. At least we know how you can best be safe online!
We hope Petter has an educational time with us, and we warmly welcome him to the team. It is incredibly nice to get to know the experts of the future in our field better.
